Certified Autism Center: ImagineU has completed the process of becoming a Certified Autism Center, which is a designation awarded by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES) that demonstrates the organization’s commitment to ensuring guests and families with children who have autism and sensory disorders have the best possible experience. As part of this certification at ImagineU you can expect:
Staff fully trained and knowledgeable to ensure the best possible guest experience.
Seating areas if someone needs to take a break.
Recommend visiting in the off season (non holiday weeks) if you have flexible travel plans.
There is a balance of indoor and outdoor attractions and activities that guests can take advantage of to alternate the environment temperature, noise level, and lighting according to sensory needs.
The air in the museum is free of harsh chemical smells, such as polish, air fresheners, and bleach.

Wheelchair: ImagineU has wheelchair accessible and is an inclusion facility.
Smoking: ImagineU Children’s Museum is a tobacco-free environment. Cigars, pipes, cigarettes, electronic cigarettes, vapor cigarettes, chewing tobacco, or any tobacco-related products are strictly prohibited on or around museum property.
Attire Recommendations: All guests of ImagineU Children’s Museum are required to wear shoes at all times.
Nursing Areas: Mothers are welcome to nurse children wherever they feel comfortable at ImagineU. If you wish for privacy, there is a designated nursing area inside the Ready, Set, Grow exhibit.
Restrooms and Changing Tables: Restrooms and changing tables are located just inside the museum floor, near the event rooms. Health regulations require that all diaper changes be done inside designated areas. Changing tables and infant chairs are located in both the men’s and women’s restrooms and the nursing station in the First 5 Exhibit.
Cell Phone Use and Photography: ImagineU encourages guests to use their cell phones to capture happy moments for personal social media platforms. Please be mindful that not everyone wants their children on your social media, please only take pictures of YOUR child. Cell phone use, especially photography/video is PROHIBITED in the restrooms!
Pets: Dogs and other pets are not permitted inside ImagineU, except for service dogs, specially trained to assist disabled persons.
Safety: ImagineU is a large facility with many physically interactive exhibits. Please keep track of your child(ren) at all times.
First Aid: Please ask any Playologist for assistance, should you need first aid assistance.
Lost and Found: Lost and Found is located at the front counter at ImagineU. Please ask any Playologist for assistance.
Stroller Parking: Stroller parking is available just outside of the Ready, Set, Grow exhibit.
